Mr.Nash believes strongly in the importance of research and its ability to improve the quality of patient care. His particular areas of interest are in genetic hearing loss, cochlear implantation, and congenital anomalies of the ear.
He is funded by the UCLH-NIHR BRC Deafness and Hearing Problems theme for research in children with genetic hearing loss. He has been appointed as an honorary associate professor at University College London to facilitate his research in these areas. He has particular experience of clinical trials, including funded studies in which he is the Chief Investigator (CI) and Principal Investigator (PI). These are detailed below:
