Mr.Nash undertook his medical training at Oxford University. During his time at Oxford, he completed an additional degree in physiology, including laboratory research into pharmacology and cell biology. During his surgical training, he also received a master’s degree with merit from King’s College London based on Medical Ethics & Law.
After graduation, he worked as a junior doctor initially in Oxford, and then subsequently in London. He has worked in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery since 2008, initially as a junior doctor in London and Reading, and then as a registrar in North London, including attachments at Charing Cross Hospital, Great Ormond Street and the Royal National ENT Hospital. During this time he trained comprehensively in ENT, and developed a particular interest and expertise in ear surgery.
After completion of his registrar training, he undertook a higher fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and was then appointed there as a consultant. In addition, he has an honorary contract at the Royal National ENT Hospital.

Mr.Nash’s practice includes general ENT surgery in children and adults, but focuses on ear surgery, and children’s ENT. The procedures he performs most frequently are:
surgery for cholesteatoma (mastoidectomy)
surgery to close perforated ear drums (tympanoplasty)
cochlear implants
surgery to improve hearing (ossiculoplasty)
surgery for glue ear (grommets)
removal of tonsils / adenoids (tonsillectomy / adenoidectomy)
endoscopic examination of the airway (microlaryngoscopy and bronchoscopy)
Mr.Nash trains junior surgeons in ear surgery, both in day to day practice and also as part of regional and national organised courses. During his consultant practice, Mr.Nash has received a number of awards for his patient care and his contribution to ENT Surgery. These include:
